Miles Beale is the Chief Executive of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA). His responsibilities include organisational strategy, public affairs, member services and public relations.
Background
Prior to joining the WSTA, one of the most powerful alcohol industry trade associations, Beale worked in a number of government roles. Immediately before joining WSTA Beale was at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) with the role of Deputy Director of for EU and international agriculture policy. Before that he was based in the Cabinet Office where he was deputy director for European and global issues. He has also worked in the Department for Communities and Local Government. [1]
