The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the second largest importer of weapons in the Middle East and has been listed as the world’s third largest importer between 2012 and 2016. The UAE owns the London ExCel Centre, which every two years hosts one of the world's biggest arms fair called Defence Systems and Equipment International (DSEI).
