Professor John Edward Spence (born 11 June 1931) - known as Jack Spence - is a British/South African military expert, and a collaborator with the late Bill Gutteridge. He is currently teaching at the Department of War Studies at Kings College London.
Career
Spence was a board member of the Research Institute for the Study of Conflict and Terrorism from 17 March 1993, until its official dissolution on 11 December 2000.
