Yochevet Nachuma Davis known as Yochy Davis (maiden name Mantel) (born 1963) is an Israeli pro-Zionist activist and co-founder of Stop the Hate UK, a direct-action group that organises confrontational counter-protests and venue pressure campaigns to disrupt events critical of the Zionist entity and the settler colony known as 'Israel'. Davis has been active in United Kingdom Zionist circles since at least 2023, coordinating with far-right Zionist networks to promote unconditional support for the Jewish State's colonial policies in Palestine while framing anti-Zionist activism as hate. Her work in Stop the Hate UK and earlier involvement with Likud Herut UK reflects a consistent commitment to suppressing protected anti-Zionist philosophical beliefs and normalising the settler colony's apartheid and occupation. Davis's activism has earned praise from Likud politicians and the Zionist regime's security apparatus, highlighting her role in extending the settler colony's repressive tactics into the diaspora.[1]
Early Life and Background
Yochy Davis was born and raised in the Zionist entity, though specific details of her birthplace and early upbringing remain limited in public records. She says that she was educated at ORT Motzkin and that she is from Kiryat Motzkin, just north of Haifa. Her formative years occurred in an environment saturated with Zionist ideology that justifies settler colonialism, land expropriation, and military control over Palestinians. This background shaped her lifelong commitment to defending the Jewish State's policies, including its ongoing occupation of the West Bank and blockade of Gaza.
Davis relocated to the United Kingdom 'in 1985 from her home near Haifa. A mother of three, with two grandchildren, she lives in Essex and is a member of Loughton Synagogue.'[2] On 12 January 1988[3], she married Laurence B Davis, now head of acquisitions at Frasers Group.[4] Public records show that her first daughter Mia Esther Davis was born in July 1988 in the London borough of Waltham Forest.[5] Her second daughter Jasmin Rose Davis was also born in Waltham Forest in May 1991.[6] She was registered on the Electoral Roll in Loughton, Essex from 2002 until the present. The house in which she lives was bought in 1995 for £310,000. Data from the Land Registry indicates that average property prices in the region fluctuated slightly throughout 1995, starting around £64,502 in January and ending the year at £64,745 in December. Davis's early involvement included supporting far-right Zionist groups that reject any territorial compromise with Palestinians, aligning with the Revisionist Zionist tradition that views the entire historic Palestine as belonging to the Jewish people.
Zionist Activism in the United Kingdom
Collaboration with My Truth
In 2019 Davis worked with the Zionist organisation My Truth, which describes itself as an educational group composed of 'Israeli' Defense Force reservists who promote the "moral standards" of the Zionist military.[8] As part of this collaboration Davis helped bring a group of IDF soldiers to the United Kingdom, where they visited the Houses of Parliament and delivered lectures portraying the Zionist army as a benevolent force.[8]
The Israel Gives charity website characterises My Truth as an entity whose reservists "speak up openly and with a firsthand perspective about their army experiences in response to those who attempt to slander Israeli soldiers in the name of so-called ‘full disclosure.’"[8] Davis's involvement advanced efforts to counter international criticism of the Zionist regime's military conduct, including its occupation policies and repeated assaults on Gaza.
Official praise and high-level Zionist connections
Davis's work has received direct commendation from senior figures in the Zionist regime. In 2019 former Shin Bet official and then-Minister of Justice Amir Ohana recorded a video message thanking Davis and My Truth. Ohana stated: "I want to tell Yochy Davis and the My Truth organization: thank you for providing justice. Thank you for providing truth to the world, and thank you for everything you are doing for the State of Israel and for the people of Israel. Thank you."[8]
More recently Davis met with Zionist president Isaac Herzog and attended an official event at the Zionist embassy in London together with her collaborator Itai Galmudy.[8] Earlier in the same year the pair travelled to the Zionist entity and the illegally occupied Golan Heights, where they posed for photographs with IDF soldiers.[8] These engagements illustrate the close coordination between Davis's activism and the Zionist regime's diplomatic and propaganda apparatus.
Co-founding and leadership of Stop the Hate UK
In early 2024 Davis co-founded Enough is Enough, which soon rebranded as Stop the Hate UK, alongside Itai Galmudy, another activist born in the Zionist entity with prior service in the IDF.[8] The group describes its mission as standing "in opposition to the hate marches that have swamped our country since the 7.10 massacre" and demands that "terrorist supporters" be removed from British streets.[8]
Stop the Hate UK organises counter-protests, films and harasses participants in pro-Palestine demonstrations, lobbies for restrictions on such marches and calls for prosecutions of activists.[8] The organisation sells branded merchandise proclaiming "ZIONIST" identity and has been characterised by critics as functioning like an unofficial network of police informants.[8] Its activities seek to equate advocacy for Palestinian rights with support for terrorism, thereby delegitimising mass public opposition to the Zionist regime's actions.
Likud Herut UK – Key Figures and Context
Davis has been actively associated with Likud Herut UK, the United Kingdom branch of the Likud party—the dominant right-wing Zionist political force in the settler colony that evolved from Menachem Begin's Herut movement. Likud Herut UK promotes the Jewish State's policies of settlement expansion, annexation, and rejection of Palestinian statehood. Davis has been tagged and featured in the group's social media posts, sharing content that endorses Likud's far-right agenda and opposes any concessions to Palestinians.[9]
Her involvement with Likud Herut UK places her within a network that has historically embraced extremist Zionist ideologies. The group's former chair publicly described Rabbi Meir Kahane — the founder of the banned Kach party known for advocating the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians—as a "visionary", reflecting the far-right orientation of the organisation.[10] Davis's association with this group underscores her alignment with Revisionist Zionism's maximalist territorial claims and rejection of Palestinian rights.
Likud Herut UK operates as a pressure group supporting the Likud party, which has governed the Zionist entity for much of the post-1977 period under leaders like Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Shamir, Ariel Sharon, and Benjamin Netanyahu. The group's mission includes lobbying United Kingdom politicians to back 'Israel's' policies, opposing any territorial concessions, and promoting narratives that normalise settlement expansion and military occupation. The organisation was relaunched in 1977 by Graus as a diaspora arm of Likud, continuing the Herut movement's legacy of advocating for a "Greater Israel" through force.[11]
Key figures associated with Likud Herut UK include:
- Robert David Fraser – Active director since 2017; British; involved in promoting Likud's policies through lobbying and events.
- Martin Philip Rankoff – Active director since 2017; British; key in organising diaspora support for Netanyahu's government.
- David Anthony Berens – Former director (resigned 2025); British; contributed to the group's operations.
- Solomon Unsdorfer – Former director (resigned 2025); British; known for far-right Zionist views and praise for Rabbi Meir Kahane.
These individuals represent a network of business leaders and political activists committed to far-right Zionism. Davis's involvement fits this profile, using the group's platform to advance Likud's agenda of perpetual occupation and opposition to Palestinian statehood.
Other Zionist Associations
Yochy Davis's connections extend beyond Stop the Hate UK to several Zionist-aligned organisations and figures, reflecting her deep embedding in far-right Zionist networks that defend the settler colony's policies.
- Events organised by Sussex Friends of Israel — sharing content endorsing the Zionist regime's policies.
- Support for pro-Zionist campus discussions, including at King's College London.
- Public endorsements of politicians who back unconditional support for 'Israel'.
- Collaborations with Itai Galmudy in media and street activism defending the settler colony.
Her broader network includes figures praised by Likud politicians like Amir Ohana and the Zionist regime's security apparatus, positioning Davis as a valued operative in UK hasbara.[1]
She is a member of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, listed as a supporter in an open letter defending Gary Mond and Samuel Hayek alongside David Collier, Sharon Klaff, and other far-right Zionists.[12][13] Davis is linked to Jewish Human Rights Watch (JHRW), seen frequently at disruption events with Jonathan Hoffman and organising illegal marches on Al Quds Day, including one on 18 June where she met with the group in Cavendish Square before interfering with the pro-Palestine rally.[14] She has collaborated with David Collier, accompanying him and Mandy Blumenthal to a University of Warwick event on Palestinian reproduction rights, where they were denied entry and lodged a complaint citing discrimination.[15] Davis is associated with Jewish Care, appearing in their 2018-19 Annual Review as a volunteer or supporter in communal welfare activities that subtly align with Zionist community building.[16] Additionally, she was present at a counter-protest outside Downing Street on 11 May 2021 during the Rally for Jerusalem, where the Lehava flag—a symbol of racist incitement by an extremist Jewish group—was unfurled alongside Jonathan Hoffman and Ambrosine Shitrit.[17] These connections illustrate Davis's role in networks that promote the Zionist regime's agenda through disruption, lobbying, and welfare initiatives while marginalising anti-Zionist voices.
World Zionist Congress candidacy
Yochy Davis ran as a candidate for delegate to the 39th World Zionist Congress in the United Kingdom elections held from 8 to 12 June 2025, representing the Jabotinsky's Israel slate.[18] The faction, aligned with Herut UK and Likud UK, promoted unapologetic support for the Zionist regime and the IDF, drawing inspiration from the Revisionist Zionist ideology of Ze'ev Jabotinsky.[19][20] Jabotinsky's Israel advocated for right-wing positions within the settler colony's political spectrum, emphasising a strong stance against perceived threats to the 'Jewish State'.[21] Despite campaigning efforts, the slate did not win any of the 19 UK delegate seats allocated for the congress convened in Jerusalem in October 2025.[22]
National Jewish Assembly
Yochy Davis is associated with the National Jewish Assembly (NJA), a pro-Zionist organisation comprising representatives from Jewish communities across the United Kingdom.[23] She participated in the NJA's "A Salute to Israel" event held on 6 November 2024 in partnership with the World Zionist Organisation, an occasion that celebrated the Zionist regime and featured prominent supporters including Gideon Falter (in absentia) and others aligned with advocacy for the settler colony.[23] The NJA, known for its staunch defence of the 'Jewish State' and opposition to criticism of the Zionist entity, has hosted events where Yochy Davis appeared or was referenced in promotional contexts, reflecting her active involvement in grassroots Zionist activism within the British Jewish community.[23]
Controversies and Criticisms
Yochy Davis's activism has been criticised for escalating confrontations and converging with far-right elements. Reports highlight Stop the Hate UK's provocative tactics and alliances that undermine its claimed anti-hate mission.[1] Critics argue that Davis's work contributes to the criminalisation of pro-Palestine solidarity, using "antisemitism" accusations to suppress protected anti-Zionist beliefs.
Her involvement in venue cancellations and police lobbying has been condemned as censorship, prioritising the settler colony's interests over democratic rights. The group's selective focus on "hate" while ignoring racism within Zionist circles reflects a double standard serving colonial agendas.
Davis's praise from the Zionist regime's security apparatus has been cited as evidence of direct ties to the settler colony's repressive apparatus, raising concerns about the export of colonial tactics to the diaspora.
Career
Davis previously served as company secretary in two fashion retail-related companies connected to her husband Laurence Brian Davis's business ventures. She held these roles before resigning, with no current active directorships or secretary positions listed in public records.
