Tim Luke

Tim Luke is a former special adviser to David Cameron. Between 2011 and 2014 he was a senior adviser to Cameron as well as an adviser to Nick Clegg, the deputy prime minister, on business, trade and innovation. [1] Luke was bought into Downing Street as part of the Policy and Implementation Unit. [2]
Luke is a policy fellow alumnus at the Centre for Science and Policy. [2]
Luke now works at Barclays as their vice-president of technology, media and telecomms. [2]
Background
Previously, Luke spent almost 18 years as a top-ranked analyst across a number of different technology sub-sectors which included communications equipment, enterprise networking and semiconductors at Lehman Brothers. He also undertook a role as global sector head for the equity research team covering the technology sector at Barclays Capital. [2]
Education
Luke studied European History, Politics and Economics at the University of East Anglia.
