Notes: In order to reduce direct costs the trustees have utilised the expertise of the Urology Foundation to source grants in the area of Prostate. The trustees also utilised the skills of Parkinsons UK to source grants in the area of Parkinsons. Grants for medical research have been made to the University of Cambridge, Imperial College, UCL and the Israeli Institute of Technology.

For the year 2022: The major institutions to which medical research grants and donations have been made to include: Oxford University, Cambridge University, University College London, Imperial College London, Bristol University, Cardiff University, Plymouth University, Royal Marsden Hospital and Royal Free Hospital.

Other major grants awarded during the year were given to charitable causes associated with the State of Israel in accordance with the wishes of the late John Black. These included donations to: Jewish Care, Community Security Trust, Nightingale Hammerson, Norwood, World Jewish Relief and Jewish Blind and Disabled.
