The Charity Commission registered it on 6 January 1981. Its governing document is a memorandum of association incorporated on 18 May 1978, and its charity register address is 8 Haslemere Avenue, London NW4 2PX. It is not recognised by HMRC for gift aid, and its reporting is up to date.[1]
Objects and activities
Its object is to advance religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith, together with other charitable purposes. Its area of benefit is national. It makes grants to organisations for education, the relief of poverty and religious activities throughout England and Wales.[1]

Companies House lists these four as directors and Beryl Guttentag as secretary. Asher Andrew Guttentag, David Guttentag and Malka Segal have been directors since 30 April 1998, and Paul Kraus since 6 February 2002.[3] Former directors include:[3]

Dynasty link
No link to any Hasidic dynasty was found on the registers. A former director, Clarence Guttentag, also sat on the board of Yeshivas Meor Hatorah Limited from 2007 to 2010.[9] That past role does not establish any affiliation between Teslake Limited and a dynasty.
