Road Haulage Association
The Road Haulage Association, which signed former Transport Minister Stephen Norris for £150,000 a year, is similar to the Freight Transport Association, except that it represents the hauliers (over 10,000 members) rather than the freight users. It has 30 staff. [1]

Lobbying on Fuel Tax
It is reported that the Road Haulage Association and the Freight Transport Association met with Alistair Darling (Chancellor of the Exchequer) on 11 February 2008 to push for the abandonment of plans to increase fuel duty[3].
