Funding in Israel

  • Rozana International's 2025 programmes, as reported by the UK charity: two tent-based Gaza Community Clinics (8,791 patient visits in the last five months of 2025); Women4Women, a mobile clinic in the West Bank (12,428 visits in 11 areas, including four new "underserved West Bank communities"); Wheels of Hope (8,463 patient rides to Israeli hospitals, facing "permit delays, route closures, checkpoint changes"); dialogue workshops for Arab–Jewish teams at Sheba and Carmel hospitals; and a Day After Initiative backed by AUD 4 million from the Australian Government, including planning for Al Rahma Rehabilitation Hospital (PDF p.4–5).[2] A 2026 women's ambulance-driver course is planned with Magen David Adom and the Lissan School (PDF p.5).[2]
  • In 2019 Project Rozana described itself as raising funds "for the transport and treatment of critically-ill children from the West Bank and Gaza in Israeli hospitals", working with Road to Recovery.[3]

Israeli partners

Rozana International; partners named include Road to Recovery (2019 website), Sheba and Carmel hospitals and Magen David Adom.[2][3]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Evidence of activity beyond the 1949 armistice line
Finding Confidence
Gaza Community Clinics (Gaza Strip) and Women4Women mobile clinic (West Bank) – Rozana International projects beyond the 1949 line serving Palestinian patients; humanitarian health work, not settlement activity. UK funds are not allocated to specific projects.[2] High
Sheba and Carmel hospitals (dialogue workshops) – no addresses given in the accounts, and none verified for this profile.[2] Not established

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[2]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[4] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[5][6][7][8] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[9]
  • UK spending not allocated. The 2025 accounts show no "Donations" (2024: £204,058) and "Charitable work" of £109,882 with no recipient or programme stated, so it is not possible to say which Rozana International projects UK funds supported (PDF p.12).[2]
  • Legal form misstated. The notes describe the charity as "a private company limited by guarantee", although it is a CIO (PDF p.10, 13).[2][1]
