People of the Land: A Twenty-First Century Case for Christian Zionism was a conference hosted by the Institute on Religion and Democracy held in Washington, DC on April 17, 2015.[1]

The conference website provides the following description:

Can Christian Zionism be defended in the twenty-first century? Theologically? Historically? Can it be defended in ways that are consistent with Jewish and Christian scriptures? Are its legal, moral, and political outworkings compatible with the ideals of the biblical covenant?
Come hear leading scholars and experts wrestle with these topics as they move beyond old assumptions and explore what may be one of the most profound questions facing the New Testament church: how do we as Christians respond to the fact that millions of Jews once scattered around the world have returned to their ancient homeland and established a modern nation-state?[1]
