Controversies and regulatory action
- No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[12] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[13][14][15][16] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[17]
- Liquidation. The statement of affairs at 15 September 2025 listed book debts of £198,750 with nothing expected to be realised and unsecured creditors of £76,730.24, including Barclays Bank £36,376.24, Site Manage Limited £28,724 and Richard Simon Lewis £8,400 (OCR).[6] The liquidators' final account says "The debtors represented commitments of charitable donations, which were not capable of being pursued", that the subsidiary "was insolvent and placed into liquidation", that claims of £40,354 were received and no dividend was paid, and that there were "no matters that justified further investigation" (OCR).[18]
- Register not updated. Although the company has been dissolved, the register still shows the charity as registered with the reporting status "Submission Double Default", reporting overdue by 623 days and the accounts for 2024/25 overdue by 258 days.[3][1]
- Earlier strike-off notice. A first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off was published on 4 March 2025 and the action was suspended later that month.[4]
