The Glasgow JPA Committee was the Glasgow branch of the Joint Palestine Appeal the forerunner of the United Jewish Israel Appeal/UJIA Scotland, the main fund raising body to support the Zionist colony in Palestine. The formation of Joint Palestine Appeal (JPA) was in 1947. In 1973, it officially became the Joint Israel Appeal and in 1997 the United Jewish Israel Appeal.
