Gilad Stern
Gilad Stern is the Logistics and project Manager at StandWithUs International.[1]
Stern was leading figure in the HelpUsWin.org social networking campaign in support of Israel's Operation Cast Lead offensive in Gaza in December 2008/January 2009. He was interviewed for a student article on the campaign which appeared on the website of the IDC Herzliya, the private college where the effort was partly based:
- Gilad Stern, who is in charge of the program, stated that its key priority is to "promote Israel on the media (Internet media) and to create a balanced picture [of what's taking place in the war]". In order to achieve this goal, volunteers from the IDC and the RRIS have worked from their computers in the situation room to post comments on articles and videos on YouTube, and to spread pro-Israel content through media and mainstream networks.[2]
