Controversies and conflicts
- Solev Co and Hatzlocho inquiries: The Charity Commission opened statutory inquiries into Solev Co Limited (13 December 2024) and Hatzlocho Limited (19 December 2024). They cover related-party transactions, conflicts of interest ("the trustees were, until recently, all part of the same family") and late accounts. The Commission stated that opening an inquiry "is not a finding of wrongdoing".[8] Companies House records her as a director of Hatzlocho to 13 February 2025, so she was in post when the Hatzlocho inquiry opened.
In the news
- Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Law has a Tager Family Jewish Law Program named after Romie and Esther Tager, who have supported the faculty's publications, including HaDin ve HaDayan, which publishes rabbinical courts' family-law decisions. Esther Marianne Tager is a co-director with Romie Tager of Selborne Chambers Limited and other companies.[9]
