The Combat Hate Foundation is a US tax-exempt charity registered in Moundridge, Kansas. It operates the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM).[1][2] Its IRS filings show revenue rising from $2.78 million in 2020 to $10.72 million in 2023.[2][3] The single largest identified donor is the Beren Sea Foundation of Adam E. Beren, which gave it $12,992,222 between 2020 and 2024.[4][5][6][7][8]
Origins
In April 2021 the Forward reported that CAM was the only public project of the Combat Hate Foundation, created in 2019. The foundation was registered to Donna Stucky, chief financial officer of Berexco LLC, an oil company owned by Adam E. Beren. Asked whether Beren was funding CAM, its senior adviser Misha Galperin said: "we have a number of funders who want to stay anonymous, so it's not anything that I would want to get into."[1] (Journalistic.)
In Al Mayadeen English, David Miller wrote that "there is no organization registered in the US with that name [Combat Antisemitism Movement]. There is, though, a Combat Hate Foundation which is the organizational vehicle which runs the movement."[9] (Critical.)

Sources: Combat Hate Foundation Form 990s[2][10][11][3][12] and Beren Sea Foundation Form 990-PFs.[4][5][6][7][8] Grants paid in a given year may not have been booked as revenue by the recipient in that same year, so the share column is approximate.
David Miller wrote in 2024 that the Beren Sea Foundation "has gifted $6.6 million to the Combat Hate Foundation in the three years from 2020-2022, nearly 70 per cent of its total income in the period".[9] The IRS returns confirm this. They show $6,625,000 in 2020–22 against Combat Hate Foundation revenue of $9,486,981, which is 69.8 per cent.
Other Beren family grants
Two other Beren family charities also fund the Combat Hate Foundation. The Robert M Beren Family Foundation reported grants to "Combat Hate" of $4,093,050 in its year to 31 October 2023 and $1,216,000 in 2024. The stated purpose was "COMBAT ANTI-SEMITISM PROGRAM / CAM ISRAEL TRIPS".[13][14] The Israel Henry Beren Charitable Foundation Inc gave $500,000 in 2024 for the "COMBAT ANTISEMITISM MOVEMENT".[15]
| Year | Beren Sea Foundation | Robert M Beren Family Foundation | IHB Charitable Foundation | Combined | Combat Hate Foundation revenue | Share |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2020–2022 | 6,625,000 | – | – | 6,625,000 | 9,486,981 | 70% |
| 2023 | 3,592,222 | 4,093,050 | – | 7,685,272 | 10,721,020 | 72% |

The Robert M Beren Family Foundation's financial year ends on 31 October, so its "2023" grant falls in the year November 2022 to October 2023, and the shares are approximate.[13] The same foundation is also the largest funder of the Beren Sea Foundation, with $2.5 million in 2020, $2.5 million in 2021, $3.5 million in 2022, $4.5 million in 2022–23 and $5.5 million in 2024.[16][17][18][13][14]

The website of Voices of Israel states: "Voices of Israel has a joint venture agreement with the State of Israel led by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combat Antisemitism."[19] (Voices of Israel-side source.) The Guardian described CAM in 2024 as "a dark money partner of the ISGAP, Concert and the ministry of diaspora affairs".[20] See Combat Antisemitism Movement.
