British Friends of Ariel

The British Friends of Ariel (charity no. 296269) operates in the Ariel settlement. It reported an income of £61,000 between 2014 and 2016. The charity’s only listed trustee at that stage was Benjamin Perl, who was awarded an MBE in 2010 for his work in establishing Jewish schools in London. Perl is a friend of former Prime Minister John Major and became a Tory donor. He is a trustee of the following pro-settlement registered charities: JNF Charitable Trust, the UK fundraising arm of the Jewish National Fund; KKL Charity Accounts (charity no. 1105998), which is the JNF affiliated charity trading as SmartGiving; and British Friends of Lilmod Velaasos College (charity no. 1075760), which supports the ‘The Haredi Center for Technological Studies in Israel’ that has a branch in the settlement of Modi’in Illit.
