Billy Richard Dennis is the name on an England and Wales birth registration in the first quarter of 1998, Thanet district, mother’s maiden name Tansley, register A18D, entry 097.[1] The marriage index for the same district, fourth quarter of 1996, pairs Lorraine Tansley with Philip A Dennis. That is the parental entry for this birth. A public profile filed as Billy R Dennis of Broadstairs lists a Marc-One door supervisor’s job from September 2022. The 2015 campaign name and the 2024 Instro guard are still not joined to the registration by a dated official record.

Parents

Lorraine Tansley married in Thanet in October–December 1996. The spouse surname on the entry is Dennis. The MarriageFinder listing against that entry is Philip A Dennis, district 575, page 0145, entry 019. Billy Richard Dennis was registered in Thanet about fifteen months later, mother Tansley.[2][1]

The index does not give a middle name. Philip Andrew Dennis (Companies House date of birth January 1961, officer X6NA67ekvfb21W3Y5EvHpxfSF6c) and a Broadstairs electoral-roll entry for Philip Anthony Dennis, listed with Lorraine Dennis in postcode district CT10, are the two expansions of Philip A on file. A January 1961 birth fits the 1996 marriage. The middle names are not on the marriage entry.

Self-filed profile

The page at bold.pro/my/billyr-dennis, captured 7 October 2026, gives Broadstairs and claims more than six years in door supervision, control rooms and property security, a Security Industry Authority door-supervisor licence, emergency first aid at work, and a full UK driving licence.[3]

GCSEs, English and maths The Charles Dickens School Broadstairs 2014–09

GCSEs dated 2014 are the expected year for a birth registered in January–March 1998. The Charles Dickens School is in Broadstairs, inside the Thanet district of the birth and of the parents’ marriage. That is a fit, not a proof.[3]

2015 South Thanet campaign

Hope not Hate on 22 February 2017 named Billy Dennis among eight people a former organiser said were paid to work on Nigel Farage’s 2015 campaign in South Thanet. It did not say that this Dennis confirmed the job. A man born in early 1998 would have been 17 that May.[4]

Instro, 17 June 2024

Prosecutor Anne Whyte KC, opening the Old Bailey trial on 6 October 2026, named security guard Billy Dennis. She said that at 03:20 he saw figures in balaclavas at the fence of Instro Precision, Discovery Park. No employer was named. A Marc-One door supervisor from September 2022 would have been in that firm’s employment on the night. The opening does not say the guard worked for Marc-One.[5]
