Andy Reed is a former Labour MP and lobbyist.


Reed was the MP for Loughborough between May 1997 and May 2010.

In 2010 he was appointed chair of trustees of the Volleyball Foundation, until October 2012, director on board at Amateur Swimming Association and international consultant to the Bible Society.

Reed was senior counsel on sport policy and public affairs at lobbying firm Fleishman-Hillard, from 2013 until August 2014.

He has been a senior partner at Green and Gold, a bespoke sporting engagement agency, since January 2014 and director at SajeImpact, since June 2010.


Reed is a trustee of Sports Chaplaincy UK, since March 2013, director of the BBL Foundation, since October 2011, director on board of Special Olympics GB, since December 2010, a trustee at World Vision UK, since February 2012, member of regional legacy board at The RFU, since June 2013, chair of Leicestershire county sports partnership, since 2005, adjunct professor at Liverpool John Moores University, since October 2014, director of Loughborough University, since September 2012, director and founder of The Sports Think Tank, since December 2011, chair of the Sport and Recreation Alliance, since December 2010, [1]
