Tom Blenkinsop

Tom Blenkinsop has been the Labour Party MP for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland since 2010. He has been an opposition whip since 2011.[1]

In the 2015 general election, Blenkinsop was re-elected with a majority of 2,268. [2]

In November 2015 Blenkinsop was appointed as a member of the Select Committee on Standards to replace the outgoing Geoffrey Cox. [3]

Family

  • Joseph Blenkinsop, brother. An account manager at Bell Pottinger and a 2014 Labour Party candidate for Knightsbridge and Belgravia Ward council. Has been declared by Blenkinsop as involved in 'engaged in lobbying the public sector on behalf of a third party or client'.[4]
