Rooney Anand is the chief executive of British brewers Greene King.

Career

Anand was previously at United Biscuits and Terry's Confectionary and in 1999 joined international consumer goods company Sara Lee as president and managing director of the UK bakery division.[1]

He joined the board of Greene King in 2001 when he joined the group as managing director of Brewing Company and was appointed chief executive of Greene King in 2005.[2]

Letter to the Telegraph

On 1 April 2015 Anand was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[3]
