The Hickory Foundation according to IRS filings up to 2013 was one of the top funders of the anti-Muslim David Horowitz Freedom Center, with 15 grants totalling $148,000 up until 2013.[1]

According to IRS filings in 2014, the foundation donated a further USD $25,000 to the David Horowitz Freedom Center. [2]
