Appointed as a Trustee of the Foundation in July 2005, David Sole is currently a Director of The Change Partnership, having previously carried a number of senior appointments with Diageo and United Distillers and is a non-executive director of the Kilchoman Distillery.
A former captain of the Scottish Rugby XV team, he captained them 25 times, playing for Scotland on 44 occasions. He was awarded his OBE in 1993 for serves to rugby football.
Sole is currently Chairman of the Board of Governors of Cargilfield School, and has served on a variety of Boards and Trusts [1].
