Chris Yiu is an associate at PR firm Westminster Policy Institute.

Career

Yiu has held many roles many roles in government. In 2000, whilst still at university, he had an internship at the Office of the e-Envoy; in 2002 he was a policy analyst to the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit; in 2004 he was an economic adviser in HM Treasury; and after a short time away he returned in 2010 as a senior adviser to HM Treasury.

In 2008 Yiu had a break from whitehall and was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

In 2011 he was appointed a director of digital government at think tank Policy Exchange.

In 2013 he was appointed a director of digital participation at Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and in 2014 founded UNGOV, a website which aims to come up with ideas to freshen up government.[1]

In March 2015 he was announced as an associate at Westminster Policy Institute.[2][3]
