Charles Clarke (born 21 September 1950, Hammersmith, London) is a British Labour politician who served as the Labour MP for Norwich South from May 1997 until 12 April 2010. He was Secretary of State for Education and Skills from October 2002 to December 2004, and Home Secretary from December 2004 to May 2006.[1]
