Aviv Kochavi was appointed head of Israeli military intelligence (Aman) in late 2010.[1]

Yediot Aharonot reported in October 2011 that Kochavi opposed an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.[2]

In 2006, Kochavi cancelled a trip to London to study at the Royal College of Defence Studies after he was warned by an IDF judge that he could be arrested on arrival.[3]
