Alison Woodhouse is an associate director and head of energy and resources at lobbying agency Hanover Communications. In this role, she 'provides strategic political and public affairs advice to Hanover’s energy clients.

Career

Woodhouse has a background as a civil servant and in working in public affairs, including roles such as researcher for Graham Allen MP, parliamentary adviser to The Environment Council and Natural England.

Woodhouse joined Hanover as head of energy and resources in February 2014 [1] after a stint as strategic policy manager at the Department for Energy and Climate Change, where she helped guide the Energy Act 2013 through Parliament. She also previously worked at Defra.

Hanover has handled two high-profile accounts for controversial fracking firm Cuadrilla and Irish shale explorer Tamboran.
