Association of Electricity Producers

Set up in 1987, the Association of Electricity Producers (AEP) represented the interests of the power generation industry in its relations with Government, regulators and the media. It later merged with Energy UK.

Its former chief executive David Porter was also president of the Energy Industries Club.
