Eagles' Wings is a US Christian ministry, founded in the 1990s by Bishop Robert Stearns, that organises Christian support for Israel.[1] In September 2025 Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed to pay up to US$700,000 towards a US$1,409,000 programme of events it would run at large US church gatherings.[2]

Activities

Eagles' Wings describes itself as a "global movement" that takes pastors to Israel, runs prayer and advocacy programmes such as "Watchmen on the Wall", and funds feeding centres in Jerusalem and Tiberias. It also runs a pastors' network, the Israel Christian Nexus.[1] It says it grew from Stearns's "profound experience in Jerusalem".[1] Stearns is also founder and co-chairman of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.[3]

Israeli Foreign Ministry contract

On 9 September 2025 the Foreign Ministry published exemption notice 4000606871, "organising large conferences in the US to show support for Israel". The supplier appears on the portal as "Eagls Wings", and the value is US$700,000 for 2 September to 31 December 2025.[4] The tenders committee's protocol 366/2025 describes Eagles' Wings as a New York 501(c)(3) (EIN 16-1462696) headed by Bishop Robert Stearns. It records a total programme budget of US$1,409,000, with the ministry funding up to US$700,000. The programme listed:[2]

  • a presence at the conferences of the Assemblies of God (about 7,000 pastors), the Church of God in Christ and Hispanic Christian groups;
  • a "DC Advocacy Event" on Capitol Hill for "hundreds of pastors and rabbis";
  • a mass solidarity day;
  • "Awake Jerusalem" on 5 October 2025 at the TBN studio;
  • a 20-concert tour by the Christian singer Jordan Feliz.
