Archived accounts

Accounts no longer on the live register were found in the UK Government Web Archive:

  • Accounts for the year ended 31/10/2016[7]

Funding in Israel

  • Year to 31 October 2025: grants to institutions ("Other") £25,000 (2024: nil); the accounts refer to "various religious schools" and name none.[4]

Israeli partners

"the Ohr-Torah institutions of Israel" (objects); no institution is named, and this profile does not establish whether they are connected with Ohr Torah Stone.[3][4]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Evidence of activity beyond the 1949 armistice line
Finding Confidence
No institution or place is named.[4] Not established

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[4]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[8] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[9][10][11][12] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[13]
  • Out-of-date officer records. The register still lists Zvika Keningbuch as a trustee, although Companies House records his resignation as a director on 24 January 2023; the accounts name Steven Bernstein as secretary, although Companies House records his resignation on 29 January 2023.[3][2][4]
  • No independent examination. With income of £25,946, the accounts contain only an accountants' compilation report, which says the trustees consider the company "is not required to obtain an independent examiner's report".[4]
  • Stale and template text. The report says "During the year, the charity received donations of £5,046 (2023: 52,502)" – the previous year's figure; note 1 reads "The registered office is ."; template text on revaluing freehold properties is left in square brackets; and a paragraph on supplier payments is printed twice.[4]
  • Late filing. The register records the latest submission as received 39 days late.[3]
