Funding in Israel

  • Grants to organisations, 2025 (2024): Scorrier Chapel £3,600 (£3,600); Caring for Life £2,000 (£1,000); Innovista £2,000; Starfish Malawi £2,000 (£2,000); International Mission to Jewish People nil (£2,000); Isaiah Movement nil (£1,000); Barnabus Fund nil (£5,000); North India Missionaries nil (£3,000). Grants to 3 individuals totalled £8,400.[2]

Israeli partners

No recipient in Israel is named; the 2024 grants include International Mission to Jewish People and Isaiah Movement, with no place given.[2]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[2]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[18] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[19][20][21][22] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[23]
  • Grants to a chapel linked to the chair. Scorrier Chapel received £3,600 in each of 2025 and 2024.[2] The archived register full print of January 2021 lists Roger Neil Morriss as a trustee of Scorrier Chapel Trust and Scorrier Christian Fellowship.[24] The accounts contain no related-party note, and whether the grantee is the same body is not established.[2]
  • Figures inconsistent with the narrative. The report says "7 organisations benefited from grants during the year ranging from £600 to £2,000", but the grants list includes Scorrier Chapel at £3,600; the line for the year's surplus of £10,125 is labelled "EXCESS PAYMENTS OVER RECEIPTS FOR THE YEAR".[2]
