Funding in Israel

  • 2025 grants £72,885 (2024: £89,947): Dugit Messianic Outreach Centre, Tel Aviv £46,500 (2024: £53,600); Helping Hand Coalition, Caesarea £6,000; Amutat Agape, Tel Aviv £4,850; Dor Haba, Jerusalem £4,800; Lech L'cha, Petach Tikva £4,800; House of Prayer and Exploits, Nazareth £4,735 (2024: £14,847); Wycliffe UK £1,200 (PDF p.10).[2] Direct charitable payments were a further £61,242 (PDF p.8).[2]

Israeli partners

Dugit Messianic Outreach Centre (Tel Aviv); Amutat Agape, a local congregation in Tel Aviv; House of Prayer and Exploits (HOPE), Nazareth, which works on Arab-Jewish relations; Helping Hand Coalition, Caesarea, which helps Holocaust survivors; Dor Haba, run by Nations Standing with Israel, Jerusalem, which holds youth camps for "Jewish, Arab and Palestinian youth" "around the country"; Lech L'cha (given as Petach Tikva in note 3 and as "a charity in Ramat Gan" in note 5) (PDF p.4, 10–11).[2]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Evidence of activity beyond the 1949 armistice line
Finding Confidence
Each grantee is given a town (Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Caesarea, Jerusalem, Petach Tikva or Ramat Gan); none is said to work beyond the Green Line, and the places of Dor Haba's camps "around the country" are not given (PDF p.10–11).[2] Medium

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[2]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[9] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[10][11][12][13] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[14]
  • Trustees paid as employees. Two trustees, Amanda Harris and Karen Gower, were each paid £24,255 (2024: £23,100) as employees plus £1,940 pension contributions; the accounts say this is permitted by the governing document. Employment costs were £52,067 (PDF p.10).[2]
  • Charges to the main grantee. The restricted Dugit fund received £49,151 and paid out £46,851, and a further £30,235 was transferred out "in respect of agreed charges made by the charity to Dugit for administering aspects of their support services" (PDF p.11).[2]
  • Reserve and approval gaps. The report says "The designated £10,000 Dugit reserve was successfully maintained throughout the year", but the receipts and payments account and statement of assets show no designated funds; the dates of trustee approval and of the independent examiner's report (Sarah Crispin ACA, Stewardship) are blank. The report also refers to a "submission error in the 2024 Annual Accounts" that was reported to the Commission (PDF p.5–9).[2]
