Controversies and regulatory action
- No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[11] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[12][13][14][15] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[16]
- Negative funds and a Bounce Back Loan. Unrestricted funds were –£54,160 against a restricted "Grant" fund of £50,442; liabilities include other creditors of £66,682 and a "Bouce Back Loan" [sic] of £19,074 (PDF p.6–7, 9).[2]
- Boilerplate contradicts the accounts. A note says the tangible assets "comprise investment properties which should not be subject to periodic charges for depreciation", although the only fixed asset is fixtures of £125; one note shows restricted funds of nil while the statement of financial activities shows £50,442 (PDF p.6, 9).[2]
