Controversies and regulatory action
- No Charity Commission inquiry naming this charity was found; it is not named in the 2025–2026 cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements or statement of results, and the charities in the August 2026 settlements class inquiry have not been named.[10][11][12][13][14]
- Template errors in the accounts. The cover of the 2017 accounts gives a different company number (06361759) and charity number (1121622) from those on page 1 (08210091 and 1160235); the notes contain a spreadsheet error ("#REF!"), a paragraph on revaluing a property after a May 2009 survey although no property was held, and a paragraph on "the changeover to the Euro".[2]
- Grants figure inconsistent. The trustees' report gives "Grants and Donations of £10,007" – the same figure as the "Bride Dress" line in the expenditure note – while the same note shows "Donations Given" of £5,300.[2]
- Late reporting before removal. The register's full print showed "Charity reporting is 168 days late" in January 2021 and "overdue by 338 days" in July 2021;[4][15] Companies House records the company as dissolved on 30 March 2021.[5]
