Greg Clark has been the Conservative MP for Tunbridge Wells since 2005.[1]
Clark was appointed as secretary of state for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, a new governmental department created by new Prime Minister Theresa May, on 14 July 2016. [2]
Previously, he was secretary of state for Communities and Local Government from 2015-2016.[3] where he had been a minister of state at the Department for Communities and Local Government since 2010. [4] He moved to the Cabinet Office in October 2013.[5] In July 2014, he was appointed to the additional post of Minister for Universities and Science.[6]
