Tim Smith is an adviser and head of political press to Prime Minister Theresa May.
He was special adviser to Patrick McLoughlin in the Department for Transport.
Career
In 2009 Smith worked as an intern for the Conservative Party and briefly as a political researcher for the Three Faiths Forum.
In 2010 he moved to UCOpera as a publicity officer.
He joined lobbyists Portland Communications in August 2011 as an account executive.
In 2013 he took a full-time role with the Conservative Party as a political press adviser and in May 2015 was appointed as a spad to Patrick McLoughlin.[1]
