John Godfrey is special adviser and director of policy to prime minister Theresa May. Prior to his appointment, he worked as corporate affairs director at Legal and General from 2006. [1]
In the 1980s, he served as a special adviser in the Home Office, first to John Patten and then to Douglas Hurd. [2]
