Background Summary
Following successful career as a senior police officer, having served for 30 years in one of the UK's best performing police forces, I am currently using my training and development skills to deliver training to Home Office Border Force Staff. I have recently been successful in being appointed as an Associate Inspector with Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary. In addition I am a registered Document Collector working with Techedia with a focus on customer service. Strong background of strategic thinking supported by a wide variety of tactical operational policing experience. Has led a national operational policing unit responsible for intelligence development around Domestic Extremism advising UK policing, Government and international partners. Led on numerous counter terrorism operations and set the national framework for community engagement on counter radicalisation informing the Prevent agenda. A qualified national police trainer delivering a host of investigative and intelligence led training. Accredited Project Manager and Project Management Trainer. Experience of internal investigations and conducting national HMIC reviews. Last role was as lead on force covert policing and RIPA Authorising Officer with responsibility for Witness Protection, Internet Investigation, Surveillance and CHIS management. SC vetted. The Lancashire Constabulary is implementing a new Case and Custody management system. I am leading on the training strategy and supporting implementation to deliver training to over 4,000 staff. The role involves linking in the IT, policy & process and training requirement to deliver the training in a scheduled and managed process within a complex and complicated environment of policing.
