John Mills is the majority shareholder and chairman of UK household goods company John Mills Limited (JML).

Career

Mills formed John Mills Limited in his basement in 1986 and owns 70percent of the business.[1]

He is also a former Parliamentary candidate, standing twice in the UK in 1974 and for the European Parliament in 1979, a Labour councillor in Camden from 1971 to 2006, deputy chairman of the London Docklands Development Corporation form 1985 to 1987

He is currently the secretary of the Labour Euro-Safeguards Campaign, Labour Economic Policy Group, vice chairman of the Economic Research Council, co-chairman of Business for Britain and chairman of the £ Campaign.[2]
