Andrew Tyrie is the Conservative MP for Chichester.
He has been the Chair of the influential Treasury Select Committee since 2010.[1]
Changes mind on fracking
Tyrie has expressed strong support for fracking yet is preparing to oppose it in his own constituency in what could be a test case for shale exploration in national parks reports The Times newspaper.
- Tyrie has told constituents he is “very unlikely” to support an application by Celtique Energy to drill an exploratory well in Fernhurst, West Sussex [2] (near the South Downs National Park).
