Charles Hendry is a Minister of State at the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change.[1]

Background
Hendry is a former public relations man, having worked with international communications groups Ogilvy & Mather PR and Burson-Marsteller.
In the 1980s he was Special Adviser to John Moore MP as Secretary of State for Social Services (1988) and to Tony Newton MP as Minister of State for Trade & Industry and then Secretary of State for Social Security (1988-90).
