Jonathan S Paris
Jonathan Paris is a London-based political analyst and fellow at the Hudson Institute.[1]

Education
Paris is a graduate of Yale University (Magna Cum Laude, B.A., Political and Economic Systems, 1975) and Stanford Law School (J.D., 1978).[2]
Career
Paris taught at Yale University from 1994 to 1997. from 1995 to 2000, he was a Middle East Fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. He moved to London in 2001.[3]
From 2001-2003, he was Vice President of Merrill Lynch Investment Bank focusing on establishing banking relationships in the Gulf.[4]
He was a Senior Associate Member at St. Antony’s College, Oxford from 2004-05.[5]
Paris spoke at the Sixth International Conference on Counter-terrorism sponsored by the Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel in September 2006. He took part in a workshop entitled Islamic Radicalism, Challenges to the Muslim World.[6]
On 27 August 2008, Paris took part in a session on the strategic impact of religious and cultural changes within the Islamic World at the Smith Richardson Minerva Initiative workshop. The other speakers were Jon Anderson and Mansoor Moaddel.[7]
He is currently a fellow at the Buckingham University Centre for Security and Intelligence Studies.[8]
