Carol Sergeant

Carol Sergeant is a former FSA regulator who workied for Lloyds TSB between 2004-2011. She is considered a strong candidate to head one of the organisations that will be created from the break-up of the Financial Services Authority. In 2009, she "served on the panel of City leaders that advised then-shadow chancellor George Osborne on his plans to dismantle the FSA."[1]

Revolving Door

Before joining the FSA Carol held a number of positions at the Bank of England. She joined Lloyds TSB Group as Chief Risk Director in February 2004.[3]
