From 1 January 2016, arms firm Leonardo's Helicopter Division has absorbed the activities of AgustaWestland.

Former disgraced Labour defence minister Geoff Hoon was AgustaWestland's international director after he was forced to resign as an MP in 2010 until October 2016. [1]
