Margy Pezdirtz is President of Christian Friends of Israeli Communities (CFOIC) a Christian Zionist organisation that supports illegal settlements in the occupied territories. The CFOIC website provides the following biography:
- Pastor Margy Pezdirtz has been a leader in the Christian Zionist movement for more than two decades. Growing up on a farm in Northern Oklahoma and having a pioneering grandfather who rode in the opening of the Cherokee Strip, she believes has given her a grass roots understanding of the People of the Book who have staked their lives to settle the communities of Judea and Samaria, biblical Israel. She is the author of several novels including “ Genesis Triangle”, as well as numerous articles, and has traveled to Israel more than 27 times in as many years. She has maintained a home in Jerusalem and has lived in Israel.
- She is a Hebrew Roots teacher and speaks to groups about Israel about her love of the Jewish people and their land, as well as some of her personal experiences having lived in Israel.
- Margy is Chairman of the Board of Directors of CFOIC Heartland, and pastors a small congregation in Oklahoma City. When her husband, David – of blessed memory – passed away, she established a memorial for him through CFOIC, finding a community in Judea that spoke of his love and care for troubled children. She has been a foster parent, has authored legislation for foster parenting, has been an active member of numerous business, professional and political organizations as well as having owned her own business. She has six children and eleven granchildren and stays involved with them as well as her work for Israel. She believes her biggest legacy to leave her children is a love of the God of Israel and His People. [1]
