Claire Foges is speechwriter to David Cameron. Foges began working for Cameron in 2008 and is praised with drafting his much anticipated speech on Europe in January 2013.
Background
Foges attained a Master's degree in Poetry before going on to work in the Westminster office of John Hayes (MP for South Holland and The Deepings) in 2006. She went on to work full-time on Boris Johnson’s mayoral campaign. [1]
Foges went to a comprehensive school, gaining a First in English at Southampton University before studying for her Masters in Poetry at Bristol. [2]
