Alliance for Workers' Liberty [1] is a small Trotskyist sect in Britain which specializes in attacks on anti-War voices. The organization has a Zionist bent and frequently tries to discredit criticism of Israeli policies by labelling it "left anti-Semitism". It operates through various front groups, including the Iraq Unions Solidarity.
AWL also works closely with the Worker-Communist Party of Iraq and its various front organizations - Federation of Workers Councils and Unions in Iraq, Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq, Iraqi Freedom Congress and the Union of the Unemployed in Iraq.[2]
