James Gurling is managing director of British lobbying agency MHP Communications and a Liberal Democrat party's federal executive.

Gurling has previously worked for Liberal Democrat party leaders Paddy Ashdown and Charles Kennedy.
He served 12 years as a local Lib Dem councillor in a range of positions including as Chair of the Planning Committee, and is currently a member of the Party’s federal executive.
