Adrian Lithgow is the managing director of George Berkeley Public Relations and a former head of media and election candidate for UKIP.
Career
Lithgow has worked in the media for the West Lancs Evening Gazette, Sunday Mercury, Mail on Sunday, Sunday Business and BusinessAge.
He then moved in to communications, as head of corporate, financial and professional services at Lehmann Communications.
Between 2005 and 2007 he was head of media for the UK Independence Party, working with Nigel Farage "to widen the appeal of UKIP from a single issue to a mainstream political party with a broad spectrum of policies".
In September 2006 he was appointed managing director of George Berkeley Public Relations, who include UKIP as a client.
Since 2010 he has also been an editor at BastideLife.[1]
