Alan Sendorek is Political Head of Press at 10 Downing Street, a position he has held since January 2011. Previously he worked at Tory HQ as head of media, swapping jobs with Henry Macrory who went back to lead CCHQ's press operations.

Background

Previous roles also include senior press officer to shadow education secretary Michael Gove (MP), press officer to the shadow education team and therefore shadow home secretary to David Davis (MP). Sendorek was also a researcher for the The No Campaign, a researcher for Jonathan Djanogly (MP). [1]

Activities

Sendorek is considered one of the Tories' most effective press officers, who made his name working alongside David Cameron before the election. [2]
