Amber Rudd has been the Conservative MP for Hastings and Rye since the 2010 general election.[1] She was appointed an Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) in October 2013.[2]

In July 2014 Rudd was appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change.[3]
